Nike unveils Outback Bowl uniforms for Florida

Debuting a second version of their Pro Combat uniforms for the 2010 season, Nike announced officially on Tuesday that the Florida Gators would be donning a re-designed uniform for the second time this year. Having first worn special uniforms for the Georgia game, Florida will wear these for the 2011 Outback Bowl against the Penn State Nittany Lions on Jan. 1 in Tampa, FL.

Take a look at some of the pictures below (click to expand) and see what the Gators will be wearing on the field in a few weeks. Though the uniforms look quite similar to Florida’s standard all-whites, there are tweaks to the pants, shoes, gloves and undershirt.

    Still think it is a lame attempt at a “specialty” uniform. Get creative Nike! The average person will not realize this is a unique uniform when worn on New Year’s Day…
