Coming off a bye week following a Week 0 victory over Miami, the Florida Gators have seen themselves pushed out of the top 10 of the AP Top 25, checking as the No. 11 in team in the nation when the first set of regular-season rankings were released on Tuesday. The Gators were listed at No. 8 in both major preseason polls.

Florida was pushed out of the top 10 by Notre Dame and Texas — each moving up one spot — and Auburn, which vaulted from No. 16 to No. 10 after beating then-No. 11 Oregon in the lone game featuring ranked opponents in Week 1. UF also found itself down two spots to No. 10 in the Coaches Poll, still ahead of AU.

Clemson remains the No. 1 team in the nation with Alabama in right behind it at No. 2. Following a difficult opening week for the SEC, there remain six teams in the AP Top 25 poll with Texas A&M immediately behind Florida at No. 12.
