Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow will be featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated for the 12th time in his career (including special and Kids editions) as the Dec. 19, 2011 issue is available on newsstands now. It is the second time Tebow’s picture and name has been on the cover this year as a far shot of him taking a snap from under center was pictured along with the subtitle “Tim Tebow Demands…” on Nov. 28.

Tebow’s picture has technically appeared on SI covers a total of 16 times with small pictures of him placed in the corners on four additional covers. To view all 16 full-size covers of SI featuring Tebow, check out OGGOA‘s cover gallery.

The cover story about Tebow, “The Power of the Possible” by Jim Trotter, is available to read now online by clicking here.

In other Tebow news, NFL Network will be replaying Sunday’s game between Denver and Chicago featuring live audio of Tebow, who was wired or sound throughout the game. The program airs Wednesday at 8 p.m. and will last 90 minutes.

EXACTLY!! Its time to take the training wheels off – I think everyone in the country knows he can win the game. I understand the slow involvement into the offense, but 8 games and 7 wins later – open it up a little would ya.
