Gators shift to No. 18/19 in new top 25 polls

The third regular season editions of the USA Today Coaches’ Poll and Associated Press Top 25 were released on Sunday with the Alabama Crimson Tide remaining the No. 1-ranked team in the country in both polls. Alabama received 61-of-62 first-place votes from the coaches and 59-of-60 first-place votes from the AP voters.

The Florida Gators (1-1), fresh off an open week, were bumped up two spots to No. 18 in the USA Today rankings and dropped one place to No. 19 in the AP top 25. Florida checked in with 398 points (-12) and 412 points (+7) in the respective rankings.
