Florida Gators basketball on Thursday released a sneak peak of the team’s slightly-redesigned new uniforms ahead of the 2014-15 season.
It is the first time Florida has refreshed its standard set of uniforms (home, away, alternate) since it adopted the Nike Hyper Elite line in 2011-12.
The Gators are still using the general Nike Hyper Elite style – with gator scales and the two National Championship trophies displayed slightly more prominently down on the full back of the jerseys – but have changed the styling along the sides of the uniforms and bottom of the shorts.

Rather than thin blue and orange lines (for the home white uniform, see below), there is now a thick orange stripe with a blue wavy line. The side striping appears to be an homage (see below) to the uniforms worn by Florida during its back-to-back title runs in 2005-06 and 2006-07 (with the colors reversed).
The collar is also now completely blue, whereas the previous version of the uniform had a white triangle at the front.

No away or alternate versions of the uniform have been shared by the school, as of press time, though this post will be updated when they are available.
The Gators enter the 2014-15 campaign looking to defend their back-to-back Southeastern Conference Championships.
Florida opens practice on Friday, October 17, giving it just under a month to train before its season-opener.
UF will take on VCU in a closed “secret” scrimmage on Saturday, Nov. 1, face Barry University in an exhibition game on Thursday, Nov. 6 and open up the regular season on Friday, Nov. 14 at home against William & Mary.
