The 2016 Masters has not been exceptionally kind to former Florida Gators golfer Billy Horschel. In a tie for ninth after a strong round Thursday, Horschel struggled like most other golfers with double hockey sticks on Friday. He looked poised to rebound on Saturday, but a gust of wind pushed a marked eagle putt into the water, resulting in a bogey and 1-over 73.
Let’s just say the golf Gods gave one back to him on Sunday.
At +2 through seven holes, Horschel moved back to even par for the round by bouncing his ball into the bucket for an eagle 3 on the par-5 8th.
