The Florida Gators doubled their Class of 2026 over the last 72 hours by adding two long-awaited commitments to the program. Four star defensive back Kaiden Hall (Milton, FL) and three-star offensive linemen G’Nivre Carr (Bradenton, FL) both decided to become Gators, making their intentions known Tuesday and Sunday, respectively.
Hall (6-foot-3, 195 pounds) chose Florida over Alabama, Florida State and Oklahoma. He was originally planning to make a decision in July but decided to end his recruitment a month early after taking an official visit to Gainesville, Florida. Hall is ranked No. 170 overall in the 247Sports Composite and expected to play safety in college.
Carr (6-foot-4, 336 pounds), who currently plays at IMG Academy, similarly committed to the Gators earlier than anticipated after taking an official visit to UF. This despite having officials scheduled with Miami, Georgia and Tennessee before the month is out. He also had Colorado listed as a finalist.
Florida now hsa a four-man Class of 2026 with four-star quarterback Will Griffin (Tampa, FL) as the centerpiece. Three-star defensive lineman Jamir Perez (Cleveland, OH) committed last month. The Gators are currently ranked No. 62 in the 247Sports Composite team rankings with nowhere to go but up as the class continues to fill out.
