The Southeastern Conference this week announced the full list of programs that Florida Gators basketball will face as part of its league schedule, bringing greater clarity to what the overall 2018-19 slate will look like for the team.

Florida will have home-and-home series against Georgia, Kentucky, LSU, Tennessee and Vanderbilt. Home games include Ole Miss, Missouri, South Carolina and Texas A&M; while road contests will be played at Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn and Mississippi State.

The Gators are in for a difficult 2018-19 nonconference slate already as they will play Butler, Michigan State and West Virginia (Dec. 4, 2018, Jimmy V. Classic). UF will also face TCU in the SEC-Big 12 Challenge (Jan. 26, 2019) and play a yet-to-be-announced opponent in the Orange Bowl Basketball Classic. Florida will also participate in the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament in the Bahamas around Thanksgiving; potential opponents include Oklahoma, Stanford, Virginia and Wisconsin.

UF was supposed to compete in a four-team barnstorming event beginning on Dec. 14, 2018. The event was to feature Michigan State, North Carolina and Texas and be hosted in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles. It has not been addressed in years after initially being reported, and with the MSU game being contested in Gainesville, it looks to be forgotten about.
