June has built tremendous momentum for the Florida Gators’ Class of 2026, which has jolted up the recruiting rankings on the back of 11 commitments. While ensuring that class continues growing an improving, head coach Billy Napier and his staff are clearly keeping an eye on the future as well, grabbing their first pledge from the Class of 2027 on Saturday.

Four-star athlete Tramond Collins (Cottondale, FL) decided to play at Florida over offers from Florida State and Tennessee, among other programs. Rated No. 179 overall in the 247Sports Composite rankings, Collins (6-foot-2, 183 pounds) made his decision shortly after visiting Gainesville, Florida.

The Cottondale High School wide receiver is a multi-sport athlete who also competes in basketball and track & field. He was used all around the football field, which is common for many talented high school players, particularly when they are standouts at smaller schools.
