The 2013 college football season is right around the corner and teams are preparing to hopefully end up holding up the crystal football (for the last time) in January. The Florida Gators have returned to prominence after a couple of lackluster seasons and have earned a preseason ranking of No. 10 in both major national polls.

Due to their steady rise over the last two seasons, Florida Gators tickets are going to be at a premium this year. Below is a breakdown of the Gators’ key 2013 football home games and what it will cost to get you into the building:

» 8/31: vs. Toledo — The average ticket price for the season opener is set at $84, however, fans can get in for as little as $29, the cheapest game this season.
» 9/21: vs. Tennessee — The average ticket price is set at $163, which is 4% above the home average cost per ticket. Fans can get into the game for as low as $63.
» 10/5: vs. Arkansas — $137 is the average ticket price as the Gators welcome in the Razorbacks. Fans have the opportunity to get into the game for as cheap as $33.
» 11/9: vs. Vanderbilt — The average ticket price for this game is $120, but fans can get in to this homecoming game for just $34.
» 11/23: vs. Georgia Southern — The Gators get break between their tough SEC schedule and annual rivalry game as they welcome in Georgia Southern of the FCS. The average ticket price for this game is $77 and fans can get in for as low as $30.
» 11/30: vs. Florida State — Arguably the best rivalry in all of college football, the Seminoles will come to The Swamp for their annual late November showdown. Last year, Florida was able to knock off Florida State on the Seminoles’ home field, 36-27. FSU will be looking for revenge as they hope to win at The Swamp for the third time since 2003. The average ticket price for this game is the highest for any Gators home game this season, $237, and fans can get in for as cheap as $67.

The Gators also have three top-notch road games in 2013, including one neutral field showdown with Georgia. Those vital road games include:

» 9/7: at Miami (FL) — Average ticket price for this early season showdown is set at $396 with the get-in price set at $111.
» 10/12: at LSU — Florida’s early season schedule only gets tougher as they travel to Baton Rouge to take on the LSU Tigers in early October. The average ticket price for this game is set at $298 with the get-in price as low as $126.
» 11/2: vs. Georgia at EverBank Field (home of the Jacksonville Jaguars) — Being a neutral site, ticket prices are very high. This game between the Gators and Bulldogs is the most expensive game for both schools in 2013. The average ticket price for this showdown is $403 and fans can get in for as low as $131.

Florida will face four teams ranked in the preseason top 25 including: No. 5 Georgia, No. 7 South Carolina, No. 12 Florida State and No. 13 LSU. Life in the SEC for the Gators in 2013, as usual, will be tough.
