College football rankings: Florida Gators jump up in both top 25 polls
Football

Coming off a clean 45-0 victory over an FCS opponent in Tennessee-Martin, the Florida Gators rebounded in the new set of college football rankings following Week 2 action. Florida, which got pushed outside the top 10 of the AP Top 25 despite beating Miami and then being on a bye week, is now back inside of the top portion of both polls.

Florida moved up two spots in the AP Top 25 to No. 9 and similarly jumped two places in the Coaches Poll to No. 8. The primary difference in the rankings is Auburn, which is ahead of the Gators in the Coaches Poll after beating a ranked team in Oregon during Week 1.
