If you’ve ever wished the Florida Gators would be on a show like “Hard Knocks,” consider that wish granted. HBO announced Wednesday that Florida will be featured on “24/7 College Football,” a new four-part docuseries that will spend 24 hours each with four programs during the 2019 season.
The series kicks off Wednesday, Oct. 2 at 10 p.m. ET on HBO, and Florida will be featured on the first hour-long episode. The crew will follow the Gators as they prepare for their Week 4 showdown against Towson.
“We are excited to have this opportunity to be the first college football program to be showcased on HBO’s ’24/7′ franchise,” head coach Dan Mullen said in a statement. “I am a big fan of ‘Hard Knocks,’ and I look forward to working with some of the best in the business.”
Other teams that will will have their own episodes include Penn State, Arizona State and Washington State.
Narrated by Liev Schreiber, “24/7 College Football” will spend one week each with the aforementioned teams documenting the lives of the head coaches, team staffs and players. According to UF, “Fans can expect an in-depth look at daily meetings, practices, meals and everything that goes into a typical game week in Gainesville.”
