Looks like a 737-800, not a 757.
It has 757 written on it and the tag number refers to a 757. That’s not their exact jet, just an example of one.
It’s not a big deal, I don’t really care, it’s just if you’re going to go to the trouble of listing the make and model of the plane, you may as well use accurate info. I saw photos of them loading the plane, it was definitely a 737, not 757. Plus if you look at the data on the flight aware site, it clearly says 737-800. Also, in your graphic above it indicates that it is a 737 as well. The green lettering next to the little green plane tells you a lot of information, AA9405 is the chartered flight number, B738 indicates Boeing 737-800. The photo you linked to is of an actual 757-200, but as you said, this is not the actual plane used.
At one point, Florida was using a 757 to fly the team. I thought your previous comment was referring to the picture, not the data on the FlightAware page. It must’ve changed at some point last season, so in the next post I’ll update it accordingly. Thanks for pointing it out.
