Already three weeks into this college football season, the Southeastern Conference is not wasting time looking ahead. The SEC on Tuesday released the league’s entire 2023 schedule, including the Florida Gators’ slate for the season that’s 12 months away.

Unfortunately for the Gators, they have been handed a tough schedule with three of their final five games away from home and their SEC West opponents back-to-back following the annual rivalry tilt in Jacksonville, Florida.

The most notable game on the schedule overall is one that has been set for quite some time: the Week 1 nonconference showdown against Utah, which complete the home-and-home between the programs. This season, the Gators beat the Utes in their first game against a Pac-12 foe since 1989.

Florida will open SEC play in 2023 against Tennessee in Week 3. It will be the first time the Gators begin conference action against the Volunteers since 2017 despite those programs traditionally kicking off the league slate against one another.

Unfortunately for Florida, the schedule gets significantly tougher after its bye week as UF will play Georgia, host Arkansas and travel to LSU in three consecutive weeks. The surging Razorbacks are the Gators’ rotational SEC West opponent, creating a tough stretch before UF goes on the road again to face Missouri before hosting Florida State to end the season.

Every game below will be played on Saturday. Kickoff times will be set closer to the start of the season.
