Already three weeks into this college football season, the Southeastern Conference is not wasting time looking ahead. The SEC on Tuesday released the league’s entire 2021 schedule, including the Florida Gators’ slate for the season that’s 12 months away. Unfortunately for the Gators, they have been handed a disastrous schedule with four of their final five games away from home.

The most notable game on the schedule overall is one that has been set for quite some time: the Week 1 nonconference showdown against Utah, which will be UF’s first game against a Pac-12 foe since 1989.

The SEC schedule does provide some of its own intrigue as Florida will travel to Texas A&M for the second time in three seasons. The Aggies are the Gators’ rotational SEC West opponent, giving Florida a tough one-two combination over the last two seasons of Alabama and Texas A&M back-to-back. Consider that Florida also played Texas A&M in a not-previously-scheduled game in 2020 that was added to the slate as the SEC decided to go to 10 league games amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

UF will unfortunately have to travel to TAMU the week after the Florida-Georgia game. It will be the second straight game the Gators will be forced to play away from home. Florida will open the season with six of its first seven games at home only to be outside of Ben Hill Griffin Stadium over four of the last five weeks heading into the postseason.

In league play, UF will host Kentucky, LSU, Missouri and South Carolina at home, while it will also travel to Tennessee and Vanderbilt. Nonconference games normally played back-to-back to open and close the season will instead be spread out with Florida alternating between nonconference and SEC opponents over the first five weeks.

Every game below will be played on Saturday. Kickoff times will be set closer to the start of the season.

Sept. 3 — Utah
Sept. 10 — Kentucky
Sept. 17 — South Florida
Sept. 24 — at Tennessee
Oct. 1 — Eastern Washington
Oct. 8 — Missouri
Oct. 15 — LSU
Oct. 22 — BYE
Oct. 29 — vs. Georgia (Jacksonville, Florida)
Nov. 5 — at Texas A&M
Nov. 12 — South Carolina
Nov. 19 — at Vanderbilt
Nov. 26 — at Florida State
