One week after making its return to the AP Top 25, the Florida Gators are now universally ranked after knocking off previously unbeaten LSU 27-19 at home on Saturday afternoon. The Gators big win gave them two victories over ranked opponents and three against SEC teams in as many weeks, and the pollsters recognized them for their accomplishments.

Florida checked in at No. 14 in the new edition of the AP Top 25, moving up eight spots but somehow still one behind LSU. That said, UF is four places above Kentucky, the team that handed it a defeat a couple weeks ago. The Gators jumped into the Coaches Poll on Sunday, entering at No. 16 and moving up 11 spots from their 27th overall place a week ago. They are also behind the Tigers in that set of rankings.
