
The Florida Gators (6-0, 4-0 SEC) continued their rise in the weekly top 25 rankings, checking in at No. 8 in the Associated Press Top 25 and No. 11 in the USA Today Coaches’ Poll after taking down the Missouri 21-3 on Saturday night.
It is Florida’s first appearance in the top 10 of the AP rankings since the 2013 preseason poll.
Last week, the Gators were listed at No. 21 in the AP rankings and No. 13 in the USA Today poll. Florida now has 935 votes (+ 935) in the Week 6 AP rankings and 755 votes (+ 755) in the USA Today poll.

Seven SEC coaches will be voting in the coaches’ poll this season: Gus Malzahn (Auburn), Les Miles (LSU), Gary Pinkel (Missouri), Mark Richt (Georgia), Nick Saban (Alabama), Steve Spurrier (South Carolina), Kevin Sumlin (Texas A&M)
Miles, Richt, Saban and Spurrier all voted in 2013 and 2014 with Pinkel and Sumlin also voting in 2014.
Coaches from five of UF’s 12 opponents will be voting: Miles, Pinkel, Richt, Spurrier, Jimbo Fisher (Florida State)
