With the Florida Gators‘ offense failing to get the job done when given opportunities in the first half, the defense decided to take it upon itself to find the end zone.
On back-to-back defensive series to end the first half, junior cornerbacks Jalen Tabor and Quincy Wilson intercepted Missouri Tigers quarterback Drew Lock and rumbled all the way into the end zone for six.
First up was Tabor’s pick-six, which was obviously the result of great film study and jumping a route he knew was coming. He took it 32 yards for the score.

Just as Mizzou was picking up some offensive momentum — on its only series in the first half that included a first down (actually, three) — Wilson made an athletic play and chugged 78 yards down the field for another touchdown.

Florida led 20-0 at the half as the defense provided some highlights on a day the Gators were honoring the 2006 national championship team at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Gainesville, Florida.
