Defeated for the third-straight week, this time to an unranked opponent, the Florida Gators (4-3, 2-3 SEC) become unranked themselves, falling out of both the USA Today and Associated Press Top 25 polls. Florida lost to the Mississippi State Bulldogs (5-2, 2-2 SEC) 10-7 on Saturday night at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Gainesville, FL.

The Gators are out of the top 25 for the first time under head coach Urban Meyer. No. 22, where Florida was ranked in both polls last week, was the lowest the team had been listed during Meyer’s tenure.

Sounds right. This team reminds me of the ’07 team minus Tebow, Strong and Mullen.

I believe Urban will right this ship and have us competitive next year.

  2. Mr2Bits says:

In better news, Timmy T got his first pro TD in a game that matters…..way to go TT

  3. Escambia94 says:

It was good to see Timmy working again. I was lucky enough to see Percy on the other screen.

  4. GatorsFanLA says:

Week 1, 2, 3: I was in Denial. “No way we’re this bad, we playing down to competition.”

Week 4 heading in to week 5 Anger: “Why? It’s not fair!”; “How can this happen to me?”; “Who is to blame? We’re going to beat the Tigers like they stole something!” “I want to punch Steve Addazio in the face!”

Week 5 heading to week 6: Bargaining: “Well if can beat Mississippi State we’re still going to Atlanta, right?”.

Week 6 Depression: Noooooooo! “I’m so sad, why bother with anything?”

Bye Week – Week 8 Acceptance: “It’s going to be okay.”; “I can’t fight it, I may as well prepare for it.”

  5. Aligator says:

gator fan la, you are right on, we suck and only a couple of people can do anything about it. i hope Urban’s dad talks some sense into him! too funny! aligator

  6. jamesorlando says:

6-6 with W from Vandy,Appa St, L from GA,SC,FSU,needs to recruit dual threat QB, big RB, OL , forget pro-tyle QB

  7. Escambia94 says:

@jamesorlando Jeff Driskel will be here next year. He is a dual-threat QB capable of pro-style as well. We will look better next year, but it will probably take a new offensive coordinator or more active input from Scott Loeffler.

I definitely cannot imagine this team beating FSU or South Carolina, but we could possibly rebound against Georgia. Possibly. Maybe.

  8. harvin757 says:

so addazio has to have the greatest college football player in history to move the ball???? and we still didnt move the ball all the great last year with NFL talent all over the field. Well until florida can find the next greatest player ever out offence will continue to look pathetic because addazio has no clue what hes doing
