Florida Gators stay put at No. 11/12 in top 25 polls after dominant win over Georgia

The Florida Gators (7-1, 5-1 SEC) did not budge in the weekly top 25 rankings, checking in at No. 11 in the Associated Press Top 25 and No. 12 in the USA Today Coaches’ Poll coming off a dominant 27-3 win over the Georgia Bulldogs.

Last week, the Gators were listed at No. 11 in the AP rankings and No. 12 in the USA Today poll. Florida now has 923 votes (+56) in the Week 10 AP rankings and 942 votes (+94) in the USA Today poll.

1-5: Ohio State (39), Baylor (6), Clemson (6), LSU (5), TCU (4)
6-10: Michigan State, Alabama (1), Notre Dame, Stanford, Iowa
11-15: Florida, Oklahoma State, Utah, Oklahoma, Memphis
17-20: Michigan, Florida State, Houston, Ole Miss, Toledo
21-25: North Carolina, UCLA, Temple, Mississippi State, Texas A&M

USA Today Coaches’ Poll
1-5: Ohio State (48), Baylor (9), TCU (4), LSU (1), Clemson (2)
6-10: Michigan State, Alabama, Stanford, Notre Dame, Oklahoma State
11-15: Iowa, Florida, Oklahoma, Utah, Florida State
16-20: Memphis, Michigan, Houston, Ole Miss, Toledo
21-25: North Carolina, UCLA, Temple, Texas A&M, Mississippi State

Seven SEC coaches will be voting in the coaches’ poll this season: Gus Malzahn (Auburn), Les Miles (LSU), Gary Pinkel (Missouri), Mark Richt (Georgia), Nick Saban (Alabama), Steve Spurrier (South Carolina), Kevin Sumlin (Texas A&M)

Miles, Richt, Saban and Spurrier all voted in 2013 and 2014 with Pinkel and Sumlin also voting in 2014.

Coaches from five of UF’s 12 opponents will be voting: Miles, Pinkel, Richt, Spurrier, Jimbo Fisher (Florida State)

    Those folks at Stanford run a classy program and still seem to be a perennial top ten team and do it with high-quality, high-character student-athletes.
