The third regular season editions of the 2012-13 USA Today and Associated Press Top 25 Polls were released on Monday, and the Indiana Hoosiers (3-0) held on to the No. 1 spot in both rankings, receiving 72 of 96 votes as the top team in the country.
The Florida Gators evened out at No. 7 in the polls, moving up one spot in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches’ rankings after two more impressive victories. Florida gained 32 voting points in the USA Today rankings and added 24 voting points in the AP poll. The Gators are one of just three Southeastern Conference teams listed in the rankings this week.
