For the third straight week, the Florida Gators are the No. 6 team in the nation, according to the College Football Playoff Rankings. This after Florida beat Tennessee 31-19 at Neyland Stadium on Saturday. The Gators have one game left on its regular-season schedule this weekend against LSU ahead of a showdown with No. 1 Alabama in the 2020 SEC Championship Game.

Florida are behind Alabama, Notre Dame, Clemson, Ohio State and Texas A&M — in that order — as the top five teams in the nation. The Aggies hold a head-to-head win that has them in the No. 5 spot, but the Gators will easily jump Texas A&M if they take down the Crimson Tide in two weeks.

UF is also ranked No. 6 in the AP Top 25 and Coaches Poll, which this week put TAMU ahead in the rankings.

Let’s take a look at the latest sets of college football rankings.
